My outlook just freezes up when you try to open after a
few minutes. Have to shut it down to restart. Any
suggestions?

How big is your .pst file. There is a 2gig limit on the pst
file. Best thing is to clean out your sent and deleted
items folders. Archive or delete other things.

One thing to try is to close Outlook and locate the file "outcmd.dat" (it
may be in a hidden folder) and either rename it or delete it.
