I am a Mac user in a Windows NT 4 network and our server is (what
else) the Exchange Server 5.5 running in Wimdows NT 4. Until now I
hadn't faced any problem with my Outlook 2001 and exchange s.
Recently we changed the server and we bought a new one (Exchange 5.5)
so I downloaded all my e-mails and contacts from the old server and
kept them in my Personal folder in my Mac.
Problem 1. Not only we cannot reconnect my Mac with the new server ok
but I cannot even work offline to see my files. We tried to activate
the old account to the old server with exactly the same settings but
in vain...So I cannot create any profile.
Problem 2. I use also Mac OsX Panther and I found that, with a little
effort, entourage and exchange serv. are compatible up to a point but
I cannot import my personal folders created in Outlook 2001 from any
other microsoft software and so I have lost all my e-mails and the
contact details.
Have any idea what I can do our from where I can draw all my contacts
and e-mails
