Outlook 2002 and Hotmail

I am an experienced user and after installing Office XP, I
attempted to setup my Hotmail account. Upon finishing the
setup, the popup for username and password kept coming
up. I checked and rechecked the password and username,
and it would not go through. I have IE 6 and I am not
sure if that would affect it. Please let me know when you
get a chance.
