Outlook 2002 (CW) just started providing sync logs

Outlook 2000 on Windows 2000pro set up for offline folder synchronization
every 5 minutes when connected.
Just today I started receiving Synchronization Logs in my Deleted Items
Folder.
Why today? April's Fools?
How can I turn off the Synchronization Log "feature"?
Any help is appreciated.
