Outlook 2002 hangs for several seconds

When using Outlook 2002 it seems to hang for a few
seconds.
when I scroll through my mail outlook will hang onj every
message.
The rest of my system works fine!

I think this started after I downloaded the latest
updates?

Anybody else have the same???
