Outlook 2002 - IMAP & reply to all

N

Not Me

Hi,

In outlook (2002), is there an option (like in OE) to purge deleted items
from an IMAP server when leaving your inbox?

Also, when 'replying to all' in group emails, it always adds yourself to the
send list, whereas in OE it removes your own email address from that list.
Can I do this in outlook? It's annoying when every mail you send goes into
your sent items and your inbox again!

Cheers,
Chris

1) No. you need to purge it yourself from the edit menu.
2) Outlook has a problem knowing who you are when you have more than one
account. Try a rule that deletes mail cc'd you, from you.

Thanks for the reply. Seems odd that OE does all this for free, and Outlook
can't! Do you know if the 2003 version offer these features?

Outlook 2003 does not offer this option either. This is one of the most
requested options for IMAP, and a number of us are pushing to get it added
in the future.
