Outlook 2002 in Win Vista Business

I have sucessfully transferred all files and settings from one notebook (Win
XP Pro) to a new one (Vista Business).
All (most) has gone well but outlook 2002 does not work. My accounts are
there, my signatures, and that's it. No contacts (address book), no tasks, no
"Note" and worst of all, no messages van be found.
Where are they or should they be: C:\user\username\Application Data\Local or
C:\user\username\Application Data\Roaming. I have put my outlook.pst files in
both but still no result..
many thanks already to anyone out there who can be of help..

outlook 2002 doesn't work well in vista.... but how did you set it up? if
you used easy transfer or something similar, create a new profile and
connect to the pst. It doesn't matter where the pst is - you just need to
point to it.

Diane,

My situation is very similar to Hubert's.
I bought a new laptop. Transfered everything from the old XP to a new Vista
laptop. My old laptop had Outlook 2003 but the new one didn't have Outlook
so we installed OL 2002.

As you noted Outlook 2002 kinda works, but not very well in Vista. I am
purchasing an Office 2007 Suite that includes Outlook 2007.

What is the safest way to get all my stuff (email, contacts, calendar,
tasks) from Outlook 2002 to Outlook 2007?

Thanks so much,

Gene
