I upgraded to Outlook 2002 which came with an hp iPAQ 2210
pocket PC. I have an old Dell Latitude running Windows 98
SE. When I launch Outlook a new window appears in front
of the program window. This is headed: 'Windows Installer'
and contains the message: 'Preparing to install.' After a
while this changes to a window headed: 'Microsoft Outlook
2002' containing the message: 'Please wait while Windows
configures Microsoft Outlook 2002.' However long I wait
nothing happens. Reinstalling the program made no
difference. When I launch ActiveSync my Pocket PC seems
to be synchronising files with Outlook 2002 but there's no
way I can access Outlook directly on my laptop. Please
can somebody help? Thanks.
