Outlook 2002 - Mail Format

My firm has just converted to Outlook 2002. We are using
Microsoft Word as our editor and Rich Text as our message
format.

Does Outlook always retain the formatting of a message
when forwarding it? In order words, if an email comes in
which has used HTML as the format, does the forwarded
message use HTML also? Likewise, if a message is received
which was created using Rich Text, will its use that same
format in the message when it is forwarded or responded to?

I would like confirmation.
