Outlook 2002 mail not sent

I have my SMTP server setting correct and tested them using OL 2002
test account setting button onthe change email wizard. The test mail
gets in just fine, but other messages just sit in the outbox, not being
sent. Some have multiple email addresses, some are addressed to one
individual.

I have no Zone Alarm, just windows firewall. I also have the
SpamFighter plugin, Plaxo plugin, the AVG plugin and a few others I
disabled to test that aspect. I connect via DSL using POP3 I'm
stumped.

Please help.
