outlook 2002 maximum number of email addresses in to field??

Does anyone knnow what is the maximum number of email
addresses in to field (outlook 2002)?

If there is a limit and I am above it, Will it work to put
all the names in one DL and send the email to it?

I think you can have up to 32K characters in the address fields. It might
be 64K.

Putting names in a DL wouldn't help because Outlook expands the DL when
sending the message.
