Outlook 2002 New Mail Alert

I have just recently upgraded from Outlook 2000 to 2002 and have rules set to send mail to specific folders within Personal Folders. When the message is displayed to say NEW MAIL - read YES/NO and I click YES - I get a message to say the item has been moved or deleted. The new mail message is in it's designated folder, but I can only read it by double clicking on the message - anyone got any suggestions? Thanks

Navigate to the new folder, then click on View > Preview Pane.

I was hoping to be able to display the message from answering YES to READ NEW MAIL message, but I'll try in preview pane mode. Thanks
