Outlook 2002 no longer will archive

Hi,

I was archiving a 4 GB mailbox by year so as not to
exceed the .pst limit and had a need to put all the mail
back into the mailbox once I was completed. The first
operation when perfectly! Then the putting the mail back
went perfectly. When I tried to re-archive the files
that is where the problems began... It seems that if you
archive files and try to archive them after you put them
back into the mailbox they are no longer archivable...
WHY? I need to archive this mailbox again because the
original archive pst files were lost.

Thanks,
Scott

4 gig mailboxes are only supported in Outlook 2003. Why did you archive it?

Also, archiving works on the modified date, so if you have played with your
items recently, the date will be set to the date on which you last accessed
the items.

I had users in Exchange 2000 using outlook 2002 with 12
GB mailboxes. We don't want to bring the old mail to the
new server... We are archiving by year. The PST files
are less then 1 GB each. How large can a PST file be
with outlook 2003? How do I archive these files that
will no longer archive? I am doing a File>Archive not
automatic archiving...

By default, 20 Gb. Registry settings can enable up to 4 Tb PSTs.

What is the max size of a pst file with outlook 2002?

Why can't i rearchive mail using 2002? If you read the
original question at the beginning that is my real
issue...

Thank You!
