Outlook 2002 Out of office assistant could not be displayed on exchange 2000 sp3

We have a situation where 2 of our users running XP SP1
and office XP Pro sp2 on exchange 2000 sp 3. whenever they
access thier Out of office assistant, they get the
following error message


The out of office assistant could not be displayed. A
required action was not successful due to an unspecified
error.

if anyone knows how to fix this it'd be great, if we log
in as the user on a different amchine the out of office
works fine.
