Outlook 2002 outlook bar

In outlook 2002 on the outlook tool bar ,a folder is showing zero
files and 1 unread item. This is only a a single user profile, others
see zero files
This is occurring on several public folders. Is this a none problem or
is ghost file hidden somehwere? Is there a fix ?

Logon as the owner of that Public Folder. It might be so that the message is
a private item.

I am the owner of the folder, no messages are marked as private.
