Outlook 2002 problem - sent items are dissapearing

Dear experts,

We have the problem on one several user computers - 'sent' items are
dissapearing from time to time.

Do you have any ideas?
Outlook version is 10.6515.2625

Do you use Exchange server? If so, and if the user checks mail from more
than one computer, is a pst configured as the default delivery location on
any of the machines?
Are they really disappearing or just hidden from view? Try resetting the
view to insure no filters are enabled.
Does the user sync with a pda? Syncing can result in deleted items if it's
not configured correctly or if the items are deleted from the pda.
