I purchased the HP iPAQ 4155 and ran the install disk. I
had Outlook 2000 on my computer, and the install disk
recommended that I upgrade to the included Outlook 2002.
I upgraded successfully to Outlook 2002. I then installed
ActiveSync successfully.
I initially had problems checking email and had to
reinstall my Norton's Internet Security 2004.
PROBLEM 1
Now I continue to have problems using MS Outlook 2002 and
my iPAQ 4155. I receive an error after some use of either
program called this:
Common Client User Session has encountered a problem and
needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
<<
The details of this error are:
AppName:ccapp.exe
AppVer: 2.1.0.610
Mod Name: ntdll.dll
Code: 0xc0000005
This error causes iPAQ to not be able to sync with
Outlook. This error also causes Outlook to be unable to
check mail. The email error I get after the Common Client
User Session error window pops up is this:
Task 'Mystikal Laranna - Sending and Receiving' reported
error (0x80042108) : 'Outlook is unable to connect to
your incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue to
receive this message, contact your server administrator
or Internet service provider (ISP).'
<<
The only time I receive the above error is after the
Common Client User Session error. I have tried rebooting
to fix the problem. Sometimes it works, sometimes it
doesn't.
PROBLEM 2
When I boot up my computer, if I have my iPAQ 4155 docked
on the cradle, MS Outlook 2002 will start up, but there
aren't any of the Norton Internet Security 2004 Anti
Virus buttons or drop down menus available at all.
When I boot up my computer without the iPAQ 4155 docked,
the Anti Virus buttons, etc. are available.
I have never experienced these problems before upgrading
to MS Outlook 2002 and installing the iPAQ
had Outlook 2000 on my computer, and the install disk
