Outlook 2002 request for password

I have outlook 2002. Recently it started requesting my
password all the time before it goes to the network to
check for mail. It already has my password on the page
and I just have to hit enter, but it is a pain to be
bothered with this. Is there a way to stop it from asking
for information it already has each time it goes to the
network? Thanks

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Keith asked:
