Outlook 2002 Response Time Slow

Recently, my Outlook has begun to respond much slower than usual. It takes a
few seconds for emails to open and to switch between emails. Other users on
the same computer using their Outlook accounts do not have this problem.
Does anyone know what the problem may be due to? COuld it just be too many
emails?

Go to Tools -> Options -> Other and disable Instant Messaging integration.
