I have just set up a new computer and have imported all my old Outlook files
and settings onto the new machine.
If I do a "Look For" search in say "All Mail Folders" and it brings 12
messages, when I click on any of them I get an error message "Cannot open the
item. Could not open the item. Try again."
Basically I can't open any emails that are a result of a search, although if
I go into the correct sub folder, they open normally.
I did a search on the knowledge base which lead me to this artcile
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/826968/en-us but unfortunatly the path
suggested as a solution does not apply to the 2002 edition. (The path to fix
is On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Delegates tab. In
2002 there is no delegates tab.)
Anyone have any ideas how to fix this please?
