During the summer my outlook suddenly stopped allowing me
to send and recieve email. A few other students told me
they had the same problem and it had something to do with
a new way the school email was set up. They told me to
get my internet providers server to place in what to use
for outgoing mail. By doing this it allowed me to
receive but not send mail for quite some time.
Unforuntely its resorted to not allowing me to send or
receive my mail using outlook at all. I contacted my
school and roadrunner and both are perplexed and told me
to contact microsoft. If its any help here is the error
message I receive when I try to send and receive
mail: "Log onto incoming mail server (POP3): Unable to
logon to the incoming mail server (POP3). Please verify
the settings in the User Name, Password and E-mail
fields." I've confirmed all my information is correct
with both road runner and utexas but still it wont work
with outlook. I can access and send email via just
through the internet site tho, however I'd prefer to keep
using outlook. Help! Thank you for your time and
concern.
