I have 2 users with Outlook 2002, SP3 experiencing a weird issue which I
cannot find an answer to yet.
Manager
Assistant
The Assistant sends out a Recurring Meeting Request, on Manager's behalf, to
7 users regarding a Manager's meeting once per month. Two weeks later, the
Manager has to Cancel one occurrence of the meeting. The Assistant goes into
the Manager's Calendar to select the 'Cancel Meeting' from Action menu, but
it's not available. Instead, there's a Cancel Invitation option, but it's
grayed out. Why is this and where's the option to send out a Cancel Meeting
option?
To troubleshoot we've tried several things, but noticed one thing strange.
The Assistant created a Test Appointment on the Manager's calendar, and then
deleted it, only for it to show up some time later.
We also noticed that the Assistant that the Remove from Calendar does not
remove it from the Manager's Calendar, or her own, but it does for other
testing parties when similar scenarios were tested.
Ideas?
