Outlook 2002 speed of opening attachments

On one PC on our network (Win 2K Pro), when opening an
attachment (word, Excel, etc) it is very slow, in excess
of 30 seconds. There is no speed issue when opening a
file from My Computer/Windows Explorer. Can anyone
suggest how I can resolve this issue. Currently running
Office xp with SP2.
