Outlook 2002 SR-2 splash screen drags 20 sec before opening - Why?

Hello,

I am running Outlook 2002 with SR-2 on a Dell with XP
Pro. The machine runs fine, has all the critical updates
for Windows and Office Pro as well. After installing the
last updates (after being hit by MSBLASTER) the problem i
have is when i go to use my outlook program the splash
screen drags 20 sec before opening. The program works
fine but why the drag. Input, ideas, fixes welcome!
