Outlook 2002 will not allow new appointments to be made

Boss has Microsoft Outlook 2002 running through Microsoft Windows XP Version
2002, Service Pack 3. Has run fine for years. All of a sudden now he cannot
enter any new appointments.

What type of account? What EXACTLY does "cannot enter" mean? What error
messages? What happens?

Click on Microsoft Outlook icon on desktop. Click on "Calendar" button left
side of Outlook screen. Enter new appointment. It asks "Do you want to
save", click on yes, window comes up that says "Could not complete the
operation. One or more parameter values are not valid".

I'd first try to clear the forms cache.
