Outlook 2002 with Trend Micro anti spam

M

Marc

I have two XP SP2 computers running 2002. On both I installed Trend Mico
Anti-Spam beta. One computer is running Word Small Business and is fine. The
other is running Word Professional and has a problem with this anti-spam
program's toolbar disappearing.

In the past it was simply a matter of right clicking in the toolbar area and
selecting the Trend Micro toolbar and that was that. Now I can't get it to
show up as a toolbar selection at all. I have tried the following:

- Uninstalling and reinstalling

- Uninstalling, downloading from their site and reinstalling

- Inserting the Office CD and letting it do a repair before trying to
install again.

When the program is uninstalled there are still a number of references to it
in the registry. Far too many for me to take a chance on fooling with
myself.

I'm hoping someone has had this problem before.

Thanks,
Marc

How is this an Outlook issue unless I missed something obvious in your post?

I was hoping that somone was using this add-on program in Outlook and that
they would be able to help me. As this is a beta there is no way to get
support from the company. I've spent a week trying to find this information
elsewhere. And it's the only anti-spam program that seems to work.
