Outlook 2002 (XP) Password problem

"remember password" box is checked in E-mail Account
Setup for POP3 Server, but Outlook will NOT remember the
password. The "Enter Network Password" box always pops
up.

Had the same problem with Outlook 2000, and fix given here solved it
