Outlook 2002 & XP Pro

Sometime after the SP2 update I discovered I can no longer send email with
either Outlook 2002, or Outlook Express while using XP Pro. I can receive
emails with no problem. When I am in my email accounts & test my settings it
works just fine. I also can't post to newsgroups. (I'm now on Win98) Can
anyone help me with this?

Are you properly authenticating to your outgoing server?

I mean, on the Outgoing Server tab of your account properties pages, have
you checked "My outgoing server requires authentication."?
