outlook 2002

I am using outlook 2002. I can send email to myself and it shows in
gmail web based inbox. However, outlook will ignore the new
message(s) to myself and not download any. My email is not in the
spam catcher or any rules. Any ideas?

Have you enabled POP access in GMail itself?
