Do you use Outlook as part of an Office suite or as a standalone
installation? If you do not have Office or Outlook 2002, but
Office/Outlook 2000, you have to install the service pack for this
version.

I do use office/outlook 2000...and in the course of trying to figure out why this service pack wouldn't download, I found that I already have a service pack 3...by going to start/run/winver....so now I am wondering why does my computer keep telling me to update by downloading service pack 3? I have it set to look for upgrades and download them automatically...I think. Sorry I am not good at this stuff.
