I cannot open Outlook 2002. I have never gotten it to work. When I try it
loads and then immediately says, "MS Outlook has encountered a problem and
needs to close."
I have cursed ME on this computer and am using Office XP for Students. When
I first encountered this problem I remember the box had some sort of link
that lead me to MS who then said I needed to download Office updates to
improve Outlooks stability. So, I patiently waited until I got the SP3 CD to
update Office. It had no affect except that now there is nothing to click on
to look for help other than being able to report it and see info that is
meaningless to me. (ModVer: 4.71.3328.0, AppVer: 10.0.6626.0, Mod Name:
ole32.dll, Offset: 00002eb0)
I can't find any info on this issue and if it exists don't know how to find
it.
I just recently needed to use it. My internet provider is Juno and I have
been having major problems with my E-mail, so decided to try using Outlook
instead. Today I was able to get Outlook Express to open and am able to
receive e-mail, but am having trouble sending E-mails out—haven’t given up on
that yet though.
Needless to say, I am very frustrated and have spent an inordinate amount of
time trying to get Juno to work and now Outlook. If anyone could give me
some advice (other they dynamite) I’d appreciate it.
