I have now seen this happen to two laptops that I am working with. The
users asked to work with them in a docking station after having
mounted it in once with a monitor, then they didn't want the monitor
any longer only the lcd on the laptop. I deleted the docked profile
while undocked, and rebooted and everything was fine. The next time I
reboot, there are office 2003 icons over most of my other icons on the
desktop. Someone, excuse me for not remembering your name, said
possibly the shellicon.dll or something to that effect was corrupt to
delete it and restart the pc. Can anyone confirm this situation or
seen it previously?
