Outlook 2003 and Exchange Problems

Hi All

If you've seen the postings between LanWench and myself you will know that
we don't have a conventional set up at my place, but I need your assistance
on the following problems:

1) I'm running Outlook 2003 on a WinXP Pro (all web updates + SP1) machine.
If I retrieve an email from my external Internet POP3 account and want to
forward it to somebody on my local Exchange network, I go to the
Actions/Resend menu option on the message, change the Account dropdown from
my default to my Exchange account, type my friend's Exchange email address
in the To box and then send it to them. In seconds I get an undeliverable
error message.

If I look at the email in Sent items, I find that it has tried to send my
message From my default Internet account, even though I choose to send it
via my Exchange account, and this appears to be the reason I get the error.

If I change the From address to my Exchange account email address and then
send it, then it works. Hell of a lot of work just to forward it on!!

Is there anyway that I can make Outlook auto-use my Exchange email
address/account as the From address when I select the Exchange dropdown and
vice versa if I'm sending to the outside world then use my External email
address/account (my default) as the From address?

2) Everytime I create a contact it always adds United Kingdom for the
country. I don't want this in my Contact list and every time I create one I
have to keep going to this field to delete it. Is there some kind of reg
key/mod to stop this happening?

1) changing the account doesn't change the from name - you need to either
change the from name or insert as attachment in a new message. If your admin
sets up send as permissions on the pop address, you'll be able to send
messages with it in the from field. (It needs done on the server and most
admins probably won't, unless it's a business account.)

2) None that I'm aware of. Does it cause other problems?
