Outlook 2003 and exchange

I just upgraded my PC to WIN2K, and outlook 2003. I'm
connecting to a SBS2003 Exchange server. It appears that
all my mail is now being downloaded to my workstation
instead of remaining on the server. I did not select "Use
Cached Exhange Mode" when I ran the install, but
everything is now local. How can i get it to leave all
mail on the Exchange server, as well as my contacts?

Do you have a PST file in your profile?
Change the delivery location to be the Exchange mailbox - tools, email
accounts, view/modify <next>. Then restart Outlook. You can either import
data from the PST file or copy/move it to the mailbox.

No, I didn't. I ended up uninstalling 2003, installed
2000, ensured that it worked, then upgraded to 2003 and
I'm now a happy outlook user once again. Its a kludge, but
it got me where I really needed to be.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
