Outlook 2003 Archiving

If i archive from a folder to an existing archive file will it merge the
e-mails or over write what's already in the file? and is there a way to
merge existing archive files?

Merge.

You can open a PST file via File > Open > Outlook Data file. From there you
can just drag/drop folders/items from one PST to the next. To close a PST
file, right click on "Personal Folders" and select close/disconnect.
