Hello, I really hope someone is able to shed some light with my problem, if
not solve it.
Two out of the many messages I have sent a couple days ago was received,
however, the attachment that came with it had its extension (.doc) striped
off.
The two instances are two separate emails with two different documents to
two different recipients.
I checked my sent items to see if I accidentally deleted the extension
before I sent it but that wasn't the case.
After the recipients notified me of the problem, I resent the emails again
with the same steps that I always do and this time it went through fine.
I understand the easiest way is just to, when saving the document, is to
just add the .doc extension, but if this keeps on happening, I'm afraid my
other coworkers and supervisors who are not tech-savy will become frustrated
unable to open important documents.
