Outlook 2003 Attachments

Under Outlook 2003 I am not able to sned attachments such as a 292KB zip
file. It will try to sned and eventually time out. I can however send the
same attachment in my web-based mail without a problem. I did not havethis
problem originally in Outlook 2003. I've tried "detect and repair" and then
uninstall and reinstall. Is there a setting that might have gotten changed.

.
I'm having the same problem. pdf and zip files attached
to emails cause messages to time out when sending.

I'm having exactly the same problem: Outlook 2003
will "choke" on any file attachment larger than about
200K at most. After that it times out and blames it on
the SMTP server (which is not true; I can send by Web
mail without any problem at all). My mail format is HTML;
I don't see any encoding settings beyond that...
