Outlook 2003 Automatically Creates Quick Launch Icon

I am using Outlook 2003 on Windows XP. Every time I restart the
computer, an icon for Outlook is added to my Quick Launch toolbar. I
can shutdown and restart Outlook and the icon is not recreated - only
when I restart XP.

I have verified that there is nothing my Startup folder, and I cannot
find why this icon is being created. I suspect that this may be being
installed as I log onto my company's domain, but I am unable to prove
it.

Any suggestions to how I can stop this icon from being recreated every
startup?

Yes, you have figured out the reason it happens. Contact your IT folks
to have it corrected.
