Outlook 2003 - Automatically Send/Receive

J

J.R.

Greetings.

I want to be able to open Outlook 2003 so that it automatically checks my
email on starting up the program. I also want it to be able to constantly
monitor my accoutns for incoming traffic if I simply leave the program
running in the background. Unfortunately, from experience, neither of these
appear to be happening and I have to annoyingly click Send/Receive every 15
minutes. Sometimes I get no email, sometimes up to 10.

Thanks in advance for your help,

J.R.

Check your Send/Receive Groups settings and make sure nothing is amiss
there. If you have a polling interval set up, such as 15 minutes, it should
also check for mail on startup.

To check the settings, go to Tools | Send/Receive Settings | Define
Send/Receive Groups.
