When I try to backup the program list a drive that is no longer connected. I
have listed the current drive but the program will not accept it.

Change that by selecting Options in the Backup window. Use the Browse button
to select a valid drive.

Thanks Mary but I have done that and when I click backup with the new disk
letter a window pops up and states that I am trying to backup to the original
disk and the file is not avalabile.

Use File>Data File Management in Outlook to make sure you're not referencing
an old PST. Use Tools>Options>Other>AutoArchive to make sure you're not
referecing it there, either.

Thanks Brian. I solved my problem by changing the drive letter of the backup
disk to match what Outlook wanted to do. A "non techie" approach but it
worked.
