Outlook 2003 Buttons

I am able to get the Journal to work, however the button
disappears each time I shut Outlook down. Each time I
have to go into add buttons, select Journal and have it
generate a button.
I have researched and found that I have two "out-of-sync"
applications, Microsoft Visio 2002 SR-2 and Microsoft
Project 2000.
Is this a known problem? Is there a fix?

Define what you mean by Out of Synch - this should not have anything to do
with Outlook. However, you can try a detect and repair to fix anything
funky in Outlook.

By 'out-of-sync' I mean that all office apps are not from the same suite;
most are from the Office System 2003, but one is from XP and one is from
2000. The detect and repair was run on more than one occasion to no avail.
