I have only seen this on one machine. I have an Outlook 2003 machine
connecting to an E2k server. It is configured in cached mode. All of a
sudden, Windows installer initiates, and then gives the messages
"Outlook has made configuration changes that require a reboot. Would
you like to restart now? yes. no. "
We have figured out that this only happened when an email from outside
comes in. I updated to the latest build. I then uninstalled/reinstalled
Office 2003.
It still happens. I tested some other profiles on the same machine, and
it seems to only happen when Outlook is in cached mode. So I took it
out for this user, but would like to reinforce at some point.
anyone seen this one?
