Outlook 2003 calendar question

Hello,

In my previous version of Outlook calendar, I was able to see any notes that I had made in an appointment in the calendar view without having to open the appointment/meeting.

In 2003 I cant see my notes without opening the item, can anything be done to allow the notes to be seen?
