reminder.
How are you attempting to create the new appointment?

Aha - that EVENT word got me thinking rite away! I have been double
clicking on the calendar day and what opens IS an EVENT - NOT an APPOINTMENT
which does default to 15 minutes! Can the double click action be changed
easily?
