Tried to close personal folder and receive the following error message:
"The operation failed. An object could not be found"
Only one personal folder is present. Same error message if I look at
properties for personal folder and click "Advanced" button.
Closed Outlook and ran Control Pannel, Mail, Show Profiles, Properties, Data
Files. Removed
data file from the list and the list of data files is now empty.
Started Outlook which still shows the personal folder. Attempted to close
the folder and still receive error message. Rebooted computer and still
receive "...operation failed..." error.
Closed Outlook and renamed physical pst file. Started outlook and personal
folder still shows but when I click on it I receive the message "The set of
folders could not be opened". Close outlook and changed pst file name back
to original name and personal folder is once again accessible in outlook
however the "...operation failed...." message still occurs if I try to close
the folder.
Uninstall outlook and reinstalled and still same problem.
