Outlook 2003 Can't open or save attachments

I am running Outlook 2003 on a Windows XP workstation
connected to a Windows Server 2003 network. On the
workstation in question I have no option to open
attachments anymore and an 'Attachment Security Warning'
appears with only the option to save, suggesting a
possible virus. When I try to save it errors, saying
unable to. If I forward the email to someone else on the
network, the attachment will open or save witout a hitch.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Are you using Oulook with an Exchange Server, or is it set up as a POP3
client?
