I am desperately trying to find out if the 'Acedemic Version" of Office 2007
will still allow me to use Outlook 2003 - does anyone know the answer?

You can use Outlook 2003 with Office 2007 Home and Student Edition on the
same PC but it will not integrate with it. You will not be able to perform
mail merges or use Word as the mail editor, for example.

Thank you so much Brian - I appreciate the info. Would that mean that the
email editor would have to .html or ???? ANY info would be greatly
appreciated!

The message format can be anything you want as long as you do not try to select Word as the message editor.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, SmallATC asked:

In fact, I believe the options to choose Word will be grayed out.
