Exchange Server: 2003
Outlook: 2003
I have changed a user's lastname in Active Directory by the Rename option
and by getting the properties page off the user and changing the X400:
s=<newlastname>; to reflect the change.
However when anyone addresses an email to that user the To: field has the
old surname in brackets, FirstName NewLastName<oldlastname>. Even after
clearing the To: address cache (using the delete key) and deleting offline
files. Where is the surname variable stored? How do I change it? That way in
Outlook the newlastname shows correctly within the <>. Thanks in advance.
BTW, I noticed a similar Post from Cathy C subject: Outlook 2003 and Cached
Email Addresses. Any help is appreciated.
