Outlook 2003 crashes when receiving e-mail

Outlook 2003 crashes when receiving e-mail. This happens once or twice a day. I have Outlook Express installed on the same machine and this uses the exact same configuration and never crashes. I now am downloading mail to outlook express and exporting it to outlook 2003!
I have the error reporting function on the machine enabled and it must have reported this error several hundred times by now, but I cant find anything in the knowledge base. I have uninstalled and re installed, I have run detect and repair, I have done full system scans with McAfee, and Windows XP(Home) and Office 2003 are up to date.
Suggestions please
