Outlook 2003 introduces a new featuee which is a pop-up box that appears
(semi transparent) when a new mail message comes in.
Outlook has a filter option which places mail in various folders.
You can see a message "pop up" appear and double click on it to view the
message.
If you seen the message but it has been "filtered" out of the inbox in the
meantime. Then say you do not want the message and hit delete, a error
appears saying the message has been moved.
Clearly if a delete button exists then the message has to be deletable.
Either the delete button has to be removed in such a case (silly way) or the
system should be able to determine the message to delete.
